Residential Summer "Jinga Camp" in Brazil

Overview: "Jinga Camp" is a 4-week residential training camp in Brazil that allows players to practice and play with youth soccer players from Brazil’s most elite soccer club. Players participate in the same daily routine together with talented Brazilian players.
International players are given once in a lifetime opportunity as the clubs open their doors to international players and allows them to stay, practice, and play scrimmages together with the future soccer stars of Brazil. Players are coached by experienced youth club coaches who often are the national youth team coaches of Brazil as well.
Why should I participate? International players will experience on their own how Brazilian youth players are developed into professional players. All famous soccer player go through the club routine in Brazil before they set their feet on the international soccer scene in Europe and around the world. For example, Marcelo from Real Madrid or Rafael and Fabio da Silva from Manchester United had spent their youth years at Fluminense FC club before they got traded to Europe.
Benefit: The camp will give players a unique experience that will expand their confidence and self-esteem. They will gain unforgettable memories and cultural experiences of which they will be proud of for the rest of their lives.
Who can participate: The Jinga Residential Camp is open to boys between ages 14-19. Goalkeepers are welcomed to participate. Players will be assigned to separate training groups based on their age. The camp is intended for advanced players who dream to become exceptional soccer players. It is an ideal camp to prepare for club, high school, and college season.
Dates: 4 weeks - 30 days
Camp Location: The training ground is located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The facility is located approx. 30 minutes from the international airport, 40 minutes from downtown Rio, and 45 minutes from Copacabana beach.
Supervision: Safe environment is our top priority. Players will be accommodated at Division I club facilities, which are all gated and supervised 24 hours. Players will be personally supervised and guided by our staff.
Typical Daily Schedule*: 7:00 am - Wake up 7:15 - 8:00 am - Breakfast 8:30 – 11:00 am – Technical training with top Brazilian youth players 12:00 - 1:00 pm – Lunch 1:00 – 2:15 pm – Rest/Swimming pool 2:30 - 5:00 pm - Technical training/Fitness/Scrimmage 6:00 – 7:00 pm – Dinner 7:00 – 9:00 pm – Leisure (Video, PC, pool, futsal) 9:00 – 9:30 pm – Snack 10:00 pm – Quiet time 10:30 pm – Lights out *schedule may vary at the discretion of the club director
The Tour includes: - all coaching and training fees - accommodation at club's hotels/dorms - transportation to and from the airport in Brazil - 4 daily meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack) - laundry service
Registration: Parents need to fill out a registration form and submit it with all the requested documents by April 15th. After submitting the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email and pre-departure booklet. Each player is responsible for having a valid passport. Some nationalities are required to obtain travel visa to Brazil. Players are responsible for obtaining visa to Brazil if required. We offer an assistance with the process.
